Engagement romance meets dry fountains in this playful Parkwood Estate engagement

Some couples just fit—like puzzle pieces or that perfect final scene in a rom-com. Trina and Mark are that kind of couple. Cute as heck, somehow resemble each other (in the best way), and totally leaned into the editorial vibes during their engagement shoot at Parkwood Estate.

Now, Parkwood is already one of those places that looks like it was pulled out of an old film set—grandeur, symmetry, and that soft, dreamy kind of light. My kinda jam!

And let’s talk about the fountain. You know how some people walk through rose gardens or dance in the rain?

Trina and Mark casually strolled through a completely dry fountain like it was totally normal—which it was for them, because it was all for the drone shot (Check the IG). No water? No problem. Just commitment to the bit, and a solid sense of humour. Honestly, I think we need to normalize dry-fountain engagement shots.

The whole shoot felt like a page out of an editorial spread: wind-blown hair, soft steps across the manicured gardens, and little glances that said, yep, this is my person. These two made everything feel effortless. The photos we captured feel timeless—but with just enough personality to remind you this wasn’t a styled shoot; it was a real story, and a really fun one.

Can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Cambridge Mill. If their engagement session is anything to go by, it’s going to be all charm, a little bit of chaos (in the best way), and a lot of love.

Planning your own engagement session in Toronto (or somewhere with fountains and old-timey vibes)? You’ll find more ideas over on my engagement portfolio.
