Permits cost approximately $350/hour and are generally only available Monday through Thursdayduring daytime hours (9 AM – 3 PM) to avoid conflicts with weekend weddings.

2. What happens if it rains during my photoshoot at Harding Waterfront Estate?

The estate offers excellent indoor backups. The Bell-Gairdner House (Mansion) features 1930s vintage decor, a grand staircase, and a library that provides a moody, elegant shelter from the rain. Additionally, the Glass Pavilion offers a bright, covered space that still feels "outdoors" due to its floor-to-ceiling windows.

3. What is the capacity of the Harding Waterfront Estate Glass Pavilion?

The Glass Pavilion is the primary reception venue and can seat up to 240 guests comfortably. For cocktail-style (standing) receptions, it can accommodate up to 500 guests. It is climate-controlled (heated and air-conditioned), making it suitable for weddings from mid-April to mid-November.

4. Can we take photos by the water at Harding Waterfront Estate?

Yes, the estate is located directly on the shores of Lake Ontario. The property features a manicured lawn that leads right to the water’s edge, offering unobstructed lake views perfect for "Golden Hour" sunset portraits. However, access is restricted to those with a wedding booking or a valid photography permit.

5. Is Harding Waterfront Estate open to the public?

The estate grounds are not a public park. It is a dedicated event venue managed by the Pegasus Hospitality Group. While you may see the exterior from the nearby waterfront trail, you cannot enter the gardens, mansion, or pavilion without a scheduled appointment or event booking.
