The English-style manor provides a sophisticated, architectural backdrop with soft window light, ideal for elegant bridal portraits and classic "first look" moments.

How We Capture Erin Estate Weddings

FAQ

1. Can I book a photography permit for Erin Estate without a wedding?

Generally, no. Erin Estate is a private venue that prioritizes exclusivity for its booked couples. Unlike public parks, they do not offer hourly photography permits to the general public. To access the grounds for photography, you typically must book a Micro-Wedding package or a Private Event rental (starting at $900/hour with a 4-hour minimum).

2. What is the capacity of the Great Hall at Erin Estate?

The Great Hall, a timber-frame reception space, has a capacity of up to 160 guests for a seated dinner with a dance floor. It features 33-foot cathedral ceilings and large windows that overlook the surrounding tamarack forest, blending indoor luxury with outdoor views.

3. How much does a wedding at Erin Estate cost?

A full wedding at Erin Estate typically ranges from $35,000 to $50,000+ for 100 guests. This includes the Great Hall rental (~$11,000), Ceremony fee (~$3,800), Bridal Suite access (~$1,500), and catering costs (starting around $120/person). Prices vary based on the season and day of the week.

4. What happens if it rains during a forest ceremony at Erin Estate?

Erin Estate offers the Great Hall as a secure, climate-controlled indoor backup. Because the hall features rustic timber framing and forest views, it maintains the "woodland" aesthetic even if the ceremony must be moved indoors due to weather.

5. Is outside catering allowed at Erin Estate?

Yes, you can bring your own caterer, but there are fees involved. If you choose a caterer from their preferred vendor list, the Landmark Fee is $1,000. If you bring a completely external caterer not on their list, the fee is $2,000. Using their in-house catering waives this fee.
